The arm of this lamp is too flaccid to hold up the head. The joints cannot be tightened enough to keep it up. Also the cap, the part that must be rotated to turn the lamp on and off, falls off easily. It's an attractive design and is otherwise a good lamp. As a work-around, I prop it up carefully against a wall and turn it off cautiously.
