Works well for my 4 year old, but long enough for my 11 year old. We haven't put any additional supports on it, but the heaviest person we've had on it is about 90 lbs. It seems great for them. I was afraid it would be too slow since it's longer & has the middle wave in it, but they fly down it nicely. Over all, I'm very happy with the quality of the slide & my kids are loving it.
