(POV of a 70+ years old woman. And who better? It's my chair.) I feel like I'm floating when I sit in this chair with my eyes closed. The pillow and cushion are amazingly soft, and a lovely color. The chain could have used another link (getting on it is not as easy as sitting in it); but once I am it's extremely comfortable. I'd suggest adding a little more padding at the bottom of the egg weave because the chair eventually causes pressure on the skin above the knees. I am ordering an ottoman in the hope that will remedy the problem.The luggage strap or whatever that thing is that keeps the chair from swinging past a certain radius. What a tacky add-on to the chair. A phone cord type coil from the frame to the chair back would do as effective a job and would certainly be more attractive.Even the thought of assembling this on my own would have been laughable.Very sturdy and comfortable. Reasonably priced.This swing is SO comfortable! I added extra pillows because I like to just sink into it. I actually got a sturdier buckwheat pillow to sit on for better back support since I have spine issues, but that was my personal preference. I think I’m still going to get a few more pillows for it so I am surrounded by pillows! I have it in the backyard so I can sit out here with my dogs, one of which LOVES to lay in my lap and swing with me. Tikka is 35lbs and I am 115 so it supports us with ease. I am still deciding on a permanent spot for it because where I have it now the ground (flagstone) isn’t even so I put two bags of pea gravel on the back of the frame to keep me from shifting when I swing and it’s working wonderfully. I know you’re supposed to keep the back strap on but I don’t use it so I can swing further than I normally would, but make sure the frame is level and secure before doing that as it’s not advised.As an added plus, customer service is amazing! My swing was missing something when I got it and they sent it out to me right away. I researched a lot of swings this summer and this was the one I went with and it doesn’t disappoint! Hubby put it together in about 30 minutes, give or take, with no issues. I am so very happy with my purchase and you will be too!Easy to put together, very comfortableLove this chair. Made my brother in law basically make it. Honestly wasn’t too bad to put it together (from what I saw) lol. I’m 5’5 and 130 and can sit all up in it. Feet can dangle too. You will never regret this buying and I am very happy to enjoy my morning and afternoon time in this nice chair.I like it so much?????I was excited when I saw this because I thought it would be great on my porch.A day after clicking “order” I thought to myself “Uh oh, how will that get shipped?”In case you are wondering the same thing, I have the answer for you. It comes in two boxes. The basket part comes in 4 pieces- two sides, and a top and a bottom. The cushion also comes in that box.The other box is a flat box with the stand, which is about 4 pieces.I’m pretty great at putting together IKEA furniture, and this is a step more challenging. What makes assembly a bit difficult is trying to hold the basket pieces tightly together while also working at odd angles to tighten the nuts.Assembly isn’t crazy hard to do, but it helps to have someone else to hold the pieces together as you tighten things.Once it’s together, you soon forget the challenges of assembly and enjoy the comfort!
