Engineered for maximum range of motion, the cryder is the ultimate in comfortable and durable workwear. Overall stretch technology, gusseted crotch, and articulated knees help this dungaree work as hard as you do.
I bought three pairs for my husband, these are his favorite work pants and I couldn’t find them anywhere else so I decided to stock up. The pants themselves are great looking and sturdy but the sizing was inconsistent one pair fit great and the other two were tighter.I am a 5'9" 210lbs brick, with bigger legs (28") and waist below belly button of (37"). I purchased these as a utility pant for the main purpose of hunting/hiking/working.I purchased these to compare/replace my LEEs Extreme Motions. Best jean I have found so far to balance the waist and legs, stretch, and it's hard to beat their price ($25-$35). My best fit with LEE is a straight 33x32, with the legs on the fitted/tighter side, but 34's and up are usually just too big in the waist and even worse if I lose 5+lbs. I decided to try these in 34x32 and they honestly fit great in just about every way. Waist is comfortable and just right with a belt, seat and legs are more fitted, not loose, but not skinny jean tight. The color is exactly as shown, the stretch is just right, and overall exactly what I was looking for. That being said, I have only worn them 4 days total and washed once. Two days scouting/hunting and 2 days casual. They are already pilling and fading color (usually a sign of wear/thinning) in the gusseted crotch. The gusset material (like in the LEEs) is stretchy just like I prefer, but not durable. I understand that you give up durability for stretch, but I was just hoping Carhartt had found a happy medium that LEEs and others haven't yet. Maybe double the stretchy material in just the crotch/gusset?! There is yet to be a hole, but I honestly don't see them making it through the fall, especially if I continue to wear them hunting. I didn't mind the price ($59.99) for the name and if they lasted longer than my LEEs, but this wasn't the case.At double the price of LEEs, I expected/need better durability than these offer. Even if only worn casually, but often, I don't see these lasting, let alone often and working. I will be sure to update if they hold up longer, but my expectations are low.My husband bought these for work, as another option to the ones her normally buys. He wanted something lighter, whichbthese are, and he does like them, but he works outside alot, hacking down BlackBerry bushes and all sorts of shrubs. He said these dont do as well as his thicker carhartt pants. We also read a lot of reviews saying that these were smaller in the waist area and that we should size up, so he did and they ended up being too large. They fit right on for a typical carhartt pant. If you have ever owned any before, stick to your typical size!Do NOT buy these if you work with any kind of grease or oil. They stain and the stains do NOT come out. I really liked these fir tge first few washes, but then they no longer repeled water and certainly not anything oily. Also they should make them in black and then maybe you wouldn't see the stains so much.I own three pairs of the winter fleece-lined pants of this brand and part number. So it was a no-brainer to purchase the milder weather, non-fleece-lined pants. These pants fit perfectly, with just the right amount of pockets and especially the phone pocket on the right leg.The only reason for the three stars, is because of fit. ALL of the Carhartt pants I have ever bought, are too damn TIGHT! On Amazon, I have bought "tactical" pants from three different manufacturers' from very inexpensive to expensive: over a hundred dollars. ALL fit excellent. I don't know what body type Carhartt uses for their pants tailoring, but I am just big, not fat.Purchases two pair of these work pants for my son. He loves them. Ordered two pair and waiting for the price to drop on the olive pair. We had to go up a waist size but I had no problem sending them back for free and ordering a larger size., He loves them. A great outdoor work pants. He is 36/32.Purchased tan and shadow., And it was his birthday gift so he is happy. He is already wearing them.I bought these in 36x30 when I was growing out of 34’s I went up to 220 and they still fit great at 210ish. I don’t get plumbers crack in them. They have plenty of room and move with you rather than restrict your movement like Levi’s 501’s or wranglers. They fit perfect and look great too. The rain defender feature is a plus. Great pantsUpdate: Bought these October 28th 2019. My initial thoughts were of a good buy. A trouser for walking the dog. We are now in August 2020. After many miles of walking, the sun has bleached the cotton to pink, so these grey trousers have a pink cast. They also looked knackered.I went out in foggy, mizzling rainy day on a 7 mile walk my legs were soaked. I am currently looking at alternatives. AETThese are the best pair of pants I have ever worn, VERY comfortable, and VERY well made. I usually wear a 34 (35) in Carhartt pants but I had to return them for a 36, not a big deal, returns to Amazon are very easy.I will buy another pair!Dye started fading after about 4 washes. The crotch is already starting to wear through after 6 months of wear, which is unimpressive considering I'm a crane operator and I don't exactly move around a whole hell of a lot. As an update, after about a year I got the crotch reinforced by a tailor and now 18 months later they are still going strong. That being said they are very comfortable and they look and feel good too.Excellent for work or play. Purchased three pairs for work but wear around home often. Hard to find in stores. Very happy to find through Amazon! A bit pricey but excellent quality.Fits well, lots of movement (able to squat with ease) Handles oils and greases well. But….the crotch wears out way too fast for $100 pants. Plenty of cheaper pants out there that will last 3 times as long. Save your money unless you’re ok with shelling out $100 plus every 3-5 months.
