Make sure you have positioned it well and it works with the shelf configuration. I use it every daySo glad to be able to get a replacement mirror. Robern products are great.I bought this as a replacement for one that was broken. My original was black. This was grey. It looks and works well!This was a replacement and was easy to installWe have two Robern cabinets each with the mirrored door front and back, ( as reviewer sandy R. mentions. We had to replace the two doors because the "silver" or whatever is used as a backing to make it a mirror, wore off in spots. so we tried to salvage the swing out mirror which was attached on each of the doors.NO LUCK---On one , I brokie it trying to pry off the black arm which attaches it--and on the other, after extensive use of the product "Goo Gone", I was able to remove the mirror but thearms were not in a shape to re-use it. (In fairness, these SOMM swing-out mirrors had been on the cabinets for 27 years--so the glue must have really dried out.Great magnifier that fits in our medicine cabinet.
